Proper cabinet and camera grounding is critical. Use of the GS-3-SMC2 or GS-3-SMCH Smart Connect box is also highly recommended for additional surge protection and an isolated earth ground. Additionally, an Ethernet Protection Module (EPM) will help protect from surges between the cameras and the GRIDSMART Processor.
