How do you use VNC to connect to the GRIDSMART Processor? Print

For troubleshooting or changing network settings, you can connect directly to the Processor using your laptop and RealVNC Viewer rather than an external monitor.

VNC can be downloaded via a link at the bottom of the GRIDSMART Cloud downloads page. Connect your laptop to the Processor's Laptop port (the Local port on Legacy Processors), launch VNC, and enter the fixed IP address of the processor 192.168.150.10 into the VNC Server field. Allow VNC Server to choose the encryption protocols, and click Connect. You’ll be prompted for the GRIDSMART password and then the Processor desktop should be displayed.
